Family relationships - older sibling of the same sex - tuakana

Ko ia tōku tuakana.
He is my older brother / she is my older sister.

Ko Tawa te tuakana o Hēmi.
Tawa is the older brother of Hēmi.

Ko Teremoana rāua ko Tania ōku tuakana.
Teremoana and Tania are my older sisters.

He tuakana tōu?
Do you have an older sibling?

Ko Ani tōku tuakana.
Ani is my older sister. (spoken by a female)

Ko Joseph te tuakana o Isaac.
Joseph is the elder sibling (of the same gender) of Isaac.

Ko Elizabeth te tuakana o Fran.
Elizabeth is the elder sibling (of the same gender) of Fran.

He's my dad's older brother, that is my uncle.
